kubuntu-debug-installer software package provides Debug package installer for Kubuntu, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kubuntu-debug-installer
kubuntu-debug-installer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kubuntu-debug-installer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kubuntu-debug-installer *
You will get with kubuntu-debug-installer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
